1. Copy your games and game files to a specific directory on the micro SD card. Make a folder called games, and ONLY store your games in this folder. It makes browsing to them in the menu much easier, and all your game save files will also be organized.

2. Store your MP3 Music files and video files in seperate folders too, and in the case of multiple music albums on the memory card, you should make a sub-directory of each album. This is something that is a must for anyone that has a lot of music where all of the songs are labeled TRACK 1, Track 2, etc..MP3 Music, Track 2.MP3, and others, etc….. By putting your files in seperate and different directories, you’ll at least have them organized because you can put all of your MP3 albums in individual directories so you’ll at least know that TRACK-1.MP3 in the TIESTO directory is from the newest and latest Tiesto album.

3. Make sure you try and make a copy of all of your game saves on your hard drive at least 1-2 times a week. Not because they could get corrupted on the microSD card in the R4 DS, but because you may want to go back to an earlier save point later in the game. Moving files on and off the microSD Card is easy. Making sure you keep a backup of your game saves is not. For this reason, I always recommend that you keep a backup of your microSD card files on you desktop in a folder. or a folder somewhere else on you PC. While this one really seems like an obvious hint, you would be surprised to know that most of our technical support emails for the R4 DS deal with how to get back erased or deleted game saves that were not backed up. I suggest you do this at least one or two times at most and even more often if you play your games more.

4. Don’t take out the R4 DS from the Nintendo DS console each time you want to add files to the microSD Card. Just push the microSD card and it will pop of out the slot in the r4 ds card. You can then quickly put it into the included microSD Card reader / writer in order to change games and files or add music or video.

5. This is my final suggestion. And it works with the microSD card in your R4 DS Card. When you put the Nintendo DS or DS Lite into your pocket or pick it up. Do a double check on the microSD card in the R4DS slot 1 card. Make sure that your MicroSD card in the R4 DS Card is snug an secure to avoid any issues with it popping out or getting lost. The chances of it popping out without you pushing down on the card are slim, but it could happen while you’re carrying it in your pocket. Losing you microSD card is horrible. Not knowing where it is because it popped out somewhere and may have falled on the ground is even worse. As you may know, microSD cards are very small, and if you lost one, you’ll have a really tough time finding it, unless you want to get a new one. If you carry your Nintendo DS in a case, then the chances are much smaller that the card will get dislodged from the R4 DS card slot, but it’s better to check on a regular basis anyway. Make this something you do before you even power on.

The screams of the pedestrians or crashing of the cars is just as enjoyable as if you were playing Grand Theft Auto on any other platform. Though the best addition to the game has to be the cop chases; as in any other Grand Theft Auto game you can keep driving in order to eventually evade the cops. But the new feature is that you can attempt to destroy the cop cars chasing after you. For example, if you have two stars you would need to destroy two cop cars to take yourself down to only one star wanted level. This extra level of aggression makes the game far more enjoyable, rather than just trying to run away and hide!
