Mafia Wars eBook – Getting the Smart Play

Saturday, November 14th, 2009

Are you searching for a Mafia Wars ebook, or are you looking for a method to squeeze more enjoyment from your free time?  We are not talking about the endless work we all must do to keep a roof over our heads, capiche?  It’s about having a awesome time.  Relieving the stress of those little daily aggravations in Mafia Wars should be a good time.  If you’re looking for a Mafia Wars ebook, you’re probably looking to find out how to eeck some extra fun from this strangely compelling game.

While we don’t need Mafia Wars to be easy, we don’t want to be the new victim of a Mafia Wars bully, either.  The game wouldn’t be any fun at all if we could get it all right in a day.  You don’t want any gamer who is ten levels ahead of you to exploit you for their personal punching bag.

I’ve heard a lot of Mafia Wars insiders advising people to target “weaker” gamers.  And I get it.  There are instances in your sessions when you really need to dump stamina and earn some no-risk experience points.  Since a gangster doesn’t have to argue for the honor code, why gamble? Any new player is an easy target, after all.  At level 300, with 501+ equipped with the best equipment three venues can give you – really, how hard is it to identify a newbie with a crew of 5, a game-issue revolver, and a casino?  And when you fit the whipping boy role, that’s your tough break…?  No, I don’t think so!

Bullies make me a little mad.  I know that REAL gangsters are bullies to the nth degree.  Therefore it is playing the Mafia Wars role realistically to bully new players.  But I still don’t like it.  When you’re a top dog in Mafia Wars and you’re seeking easy experience, go get Spockholm’s bookmarklet “SpammerHunt” and fight those spammers rather than beating up “weak” beginners.

I’ll come down from my soap box now.

The gist of this rant is that you don’t have to be newbie for long.  You already know you want to come out on top of the heap in this game, and you’re looking for a collection of hints and tips that will take you where you want to go.  You have a attitude that will result in you beating ninety nine percent of people who play the game, because most players don’t even consider getting the how-to.  Uncovering the Mafia Wars 411 is sure to make your game strategy solid.

Start with a highly recommended Mafia Wars ebook.  Because, let’s be honest, it’s no fun to play a game with someone’s foot on your neck.  Don’t let the little complexities of Mafia Wars distract you and keep you from getting where you want to go.  The magic of an ebook is that it provides you with the total picture of the puzzle you are putting together in Mafia Wars, so you can know what’s the best move to make next.

Find the traction you need to climb out of the newbie hells with this Mafia Wars ebook.  Pursuing quality information is the choice that will break your losing streak.  Play confident.  Maximize your fun.  Stop wandering around Mafia Wars being beat up and robbed by every high level player you come across.  Begin again with a new approach when you log in to Mafia Wars tomorrow!

Bodyguards and Mafia Wars Bullies

Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009

What makes Mafia Wars fun is partly having all those fun sounding criminal accessories.  And Mafia Wars bodyguards are certainly part of that mafia mystique.  Sure, they are useful defensive equipment (DEF 25), but bodyguards are not the best defense available.  Why are the bodyguards on everyone’s list of most wanted loot?

Mob accessory appeal aside, if you are getting hammered on the fightlist a bodyguard can change that for you in a snap.  And because there is so much “whipping boy” strategy in Mafia Wars circles, it’s no surprise that newbies who are naturally in weaker position are searching for Mafia Wars bodyguards.

Looking for where to find Mafia Wars bodyguards?  Find them in the Protect Your City from a Rival family job in the Hitman tier.  It’s actually beyond cool how soon you can get yourself a set of bodyguards – as soon as level eighteen.  (When you seek even better defense than bodyguards, you can go after the Guerilla Squad in Cuba – El Padrino Storm the Presidential Palace loot.)

Another thing to like about Mafia Wars bodyguards is that the job where you acquire them is a decent experience yield.  You input thirty-one energy and receive fifty-eight experience in that job.  Experience to energy ratio of 1.87 makes that job is a good one for leveling, [as well].  It’s a good energy investment and yields the bodyguards, some of the best defensive equipment available to lower level players from job loot.  The improvement in your defense due to bodyguards will enable you to defeat a gamer who attacks you when your attacker is generally equal to you.  It’s smart to get bodyguards for as many of your crew as you can, since bodyguards are the best defense easily acquired at the lower levels.

Bodyguards may not be sufficient to eliminate your fightlist problem, though.  If your attacker has you outmanned, outgunned, and outclassed, bodyguards won’t end your losses – although they will improve your chance of wins!  Not fun and bodyguards may not be sufficient to end the abuse.

Better get some stronger Mafia Wars fighting strategy.

Have you neglected your personal stats, especially defense?
Do you have a teeny mafia family?
Have you neglected mafia equipment?

If those questions make you wince, you’re going to have to rethink the way you manage your crew to turn around fight outcomes.  When you’ve attracted a Mafia Wars tormentor, you won’t be able to continue to allocate all your skill points to energy; you’ll want to invest some into defense.  And a tiny mafia crew is a bulls-eye stamped on your forehead – you’ll be outmanned every time!  You’ll need to add some crew size.  Don’t overlook that each member of your mafia needs all three pieces of Mafia Wars equipment – weapon, armor, and vehicle.  If you’re looking to ward off a persistent bully, get the best defensive equipment you can find.

Get Mafia Wars fight tough and get those bodyguards, too.
